Text Messaging (SMS) — Privacy Supplement
Last updated: June 18, 2026
This section supplements the Privacy Policy above and uses the same defined terms (Zahara Solutions LLC, “we,” “us,” “our”). It describes how we collect and use mobile phone numbers and SMS consent. See also our SMS & Messaging Compliance page.
Information we collect for SMS
When you opt in to receive text messages through our services or a client’s hosted form, we collect your mobile phone number, the date and time of consent, the exact consent language shown to you, and related metadata (such as the form URL and, where applicable, IP address).
How we use SMS information
We use mobile numbers and consent records to:
- Send transactional SMS notifications you have agreed to receive
- Deliver lead confirmations, appointment reminders, service updates, review requests, and similar messages on behalf of managed business clients
- Honor opt-out requests and maintain an audit trail
- Comply with carrier and regulatory requirements
No sale or sharing for marketing
Mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with SMS delivery providers (such as Twilio) solely to transmit messages and operate the program.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies; typically 1–4 messages per inquiry, appointment, or service interaction. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out and help
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. We honor STOP requests promptly. Reply HELP or contact [email protected] for assistance.
Acting on behalf of clients
Where we send SMS on behalf of a business client, we process mobile information as a service provider according to the client’s instructions. The client remains responsible for its relationship with its end customers.
Retention
We retain phone numbers and consent records for the duration of the applicable service relationship, plus up to 12 months thereafter, or until you opt out, whichever is sooner, unless a longer period is required by law.
